Steve Johnson
Steven Berlin Johnson (born June 6, 1968) is an American popular science author, media theorist, and leading authority on innovation, best known for his bestselling books exploring breakthroughs in health, medicine, technology, and history, such as *The Ghost Map* and *Where Good Ideas Come From*. He has authored over a dozen books translated into more than 20 languages, hosted the Emmy-winning PBS/BBC series *How We Got To Now*, and hosts podcasts including *American Innovations* and *The TED Interview*. Johnson writes for *The New York Times* and *Wired*, and lives in Brooklyn, New York, with his wife and three sons.[1][2][3]
