Sherwood Anderson

Sherwood Anderson was an American novelist and short story writer, best known for his collection of interconnected short stories 'Winesburg, Ohio' (1919), which explores the lives of small-town residents. His work influenced a generation of writers, including Ernest Hemingway and William Faulkner, with its focus on psychological realism and the struggles of ordinary people. Anderson also wrote novels such as 'Poor White' and 'Dark Laughter'.
