Marvel Comics
Marvel Comics is an American comic book publisher founded in 1939 by Martin Goodman as Timely Publications. It officially became Marvel Comics in 1961 and rose to prominence under the leadership of editor-in-chief Stan Lee, who co-created iconic characters like the Fantastic Four, Spider-Man, the Avengers, and the X-Men. Today, it is a subsidiary of Marvel Entertainment, known for its vast superhero universe.
