Laura Florand
Laura Florand is a Senior Lecturer of Romance Studies at Duke University who was born in Georgia and developed a passion for travel early in life.[3] She is an author known for her romance novels, particularly her chocolate-themed series, and her academic interests focus on contemporary French language and culture, gastronomy, cinema, and writing.[5][6] Florand was a Fulbright Fellow who studied in Tahiti and has lived internationally, including in Paris where she married Parisian Sébastien Florand.[2][4]
