John Banville
John Banville is an Irish novelist, journalist, and screenwriter born in Wexford, Ireland, on 8 December 1945. His fiction is known for its complex, referential style and themes of loss, obsession, and destructive love; he also writes crime novels under the pseudonym Benjamin Black.
