Elizabeth Harrison

Elizabeth Harrison was an American educator, author, and lecturer from Kentucky who became a major force in establishing standards for kindergarten and early childhood teacher training. She founded the Chicago Kindergarten College in 1886, which later became part of National Louis University, and wrote widely on child development and early childhood education.
