Phil McGraw, known as Dr. Phil, is an American psychologist, television personality, and author who earned his Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of North Texas after playing college football. He co-founded Courtroom Sciences for trial consulting, gained fame assisting Oprah Winfrey in a lawsuit, and launched his syndicated advice show *Dr. Phil* in 2002, alongside authoring numerous bestselling self-help books.[1][4][6]
