Barrie Konicov

Barrie Konicov was a US hypnotist and author who created over 180 self-help and self-hypnosis programs through his company Potentials Unlimited Inc. He sold between 3 and 5 million cassette tapes worldwide in 1987, becoming a leader in the booming self-help market. His subliminal persuasion recordings featured hidden messages designed to penetrate listeners' subconscious minds, though some of his medical claims were challenged by the FDA in 1982.
