Love and Cupcakes

Leah Johnson has always lived her life on the safe side, but playing by the rules has left her wondering if she is missing out on something more. When her boyfriend accepts a job in California, Leah decides to spend her summer in Maine, helping with her cousin's wedding business. She is determined to live a little and have some fun, but she never expected to find herself falling in love or questioning everything about the life she has made for herself. Tom Cooper works for the Coast Guard. After the death of his oldest sister, he is left raising his baby niece with the help of an eccentric, but well intentioned, nanny. He is also still reeling from a breakup that left his heart in pieces months before. He is barely holding things together when Leah Johnson walks into the Coast Guard station, holding a box of cupcakes with his name on it. Neither Leah nor Tom are looking for any kind of relationship, but what starts out as friendship quickly becomes something much more. With each other's help, they both find themselves healing and learning to love life again. But when people from their past show up, they must decide if this new life they have created together is worth giving up everything they know.
