Fates Tied

Who was he? This man she was so captivated by. Suzanne's divorce was months ago and something had put her on this cruise ship for a reason. She wasn't looking for love, but had it found her? As across the table he sat down, caught her eye and smiled a knowing smile. She knew he was intelligent by the conversations she'd overheard him have but now clad in a sharp tuxedo suit with a bow-tie nestled in the crook of his crisp white shirt collar she was hooked. She felt her heart racing with excitement, maybe there was a chance for her after all, a chance to talk to him more and maybe see whether the connection that she felt was real or whether it's all in her head. She wondered if it was just an infatuation, something drawing her to him with no explanation and it was something that she should just ignore. Could she let go of the past and let fate play its game?
