Terrorism is everywhere. From Peru to Palestine and from Spain to Sri Lanka, terrorist groups use violence to create fear in order to achieve their goals. Terrorist organizations are usually organized around religious, political, social, or other ideological causes. Although all terrorism is criminal under international law, governments have been responsible for terrorist activity, and some terrorist campaigns have led to the founding of modern nations.
