Zecharia Sitchin
Zecharia Sitchin was an author best known for *The 12th Planet* and the larger *Earth Chronicles* series, in which he proposed that ancient Mesopotamian texts describe extraterrestrial beings called the Anunnaki.[1][5] His books popularized theories about ancient astronauts and the planet Nibiru, and they sold millions of copies worldwide.[1]
