Yoshikazu Yasuhiko
Yoshikazu Yasuhiko is a Japanese animator, manga artist, and anime director best known for being the character designer and animation director of the original Mobile Suit Gundam anime, which began in 1979. A towering figure in the history of Japanese animation and manga, he shaped the visual language of modern anime and defined the style of 1980s science fiction anime. His critically acclaimed manga works include Arion and Venus Wars, both of which he adapted into film, and he later created the beloved Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin manga.
