Xander Bennett

Alexander 'Xander' Bennett, born in 1970 in Christchurch, New Zealand, is a scholar and author specializing in Japanese martial arts and culture. He earned doctoral degrees from Kyoto University in 2001 and the University of Canterbury, and serves as a faculty member at Kansai University. Bennett is best known for his book Kendo: Culture of the Sword and has authored numerous works on the subject.
