World Publishing

World Publishing Company was not an author but an American publishing company founded by Alfred H. Cahen in 1902, originally headquartered in Cleveland and later expanding to New York City. The company published genre fiction, children's literature, nonfiction, textbooks, Bibles, and dictionaries primarily from 1940 to 1980, and ceased operations in 1980 with assets acquired by Putnam and Simon & Schuster.
