Woody Hochswender

William Joseph 'Woody' Hochswender III (1951-2015) was an American journalist, author, and practicing Buddhist who wrote for publications like Esquire and co-authored books on Nichiren Buddhism, including the bestsellers 'Buddha in Your Mirror' and 'Buddha in Your Rearview Mirror.' Born in Brooklyn, New York, and raised in Sea Cliff, Long Island, he graduated from college before pursuing a career in writing and Buddhist teachings. He passed away at his home in Sharon, Connecticut, from a brain tumor at age 64.
