Willy Reichel

William Cornelius Reichel was a Moravian clergyman, educator, and historian born in Salem, North Carolina, who studied theology at Moravian College and Theological Seminary in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, earning his bachelor's degree in 1844. He taught at Nazareth Hall, Moravian College, and served as principal of Linden Hall School for Girls before retiring in 1870 to focus on historical research while continuing to teach art. He authored works on history and was married twice, dying in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
