William Smeaton

William Henry Oliphant Smeaton (1856–1914), who sometimes wrote under the name Oliphant Smeaton, was a Scottish writer, journalist, editor, historian, and educator. He wrote fiction, adventure fiction, children's fiction, non-fiction, and travel literature.
