William Rubel

William Rubel is an independent scholar and writer based in Santa Cruz, California, known for work on culinary history, traditional foodways, bread, and historic kitchen gardens.[1][2] He is the founding editor of *Stone Soup* magazine and the author of *The Magic of Fire*, a book on hearth cooking.[1][3]
