William Rice
William Rice (1938–2016) was an American food journalist who worked for the Chicago Tribune, the Washington Post, and Food & Wine magazine. He was known for his expert culinary knowledge combined with an unassuming, approachable style that appealed to home cooks and professional chefs alike. Rice received his culinary education at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris and later became a notable author and food enthusiast in Chicago.
