William R Lamb
William Robert Lamb (1850-?) was a prominent Texas Populist leader and key figure in the Farmers' Alliance and People's Party. Born in McNair County, Tennessee, he moved to Texas in 1871, settled in Montague County, and rose to prominence as the first traveling agent for the Texas Farmers' Alliance, advocating cooperative purchasing and marketing despite limited formal education.[1]
