William J Clancey

William J. Clancey is a computer scientist and cognitive scientist with a PhD in Computer Science from Stanford University (1979) and a BA in Mathematical Sciences from Rice University. He has served as Chief Scientist for Human-Centered Computing in NASA's Intelligent Systems Division at Ames Research Center and as a Senior Research Scientist at the Florida Institute for Human and Machine Cognition (IHMC), focusing on relating cognitive and social science to work practices and agent systems design.[1][2][4][5]
