William H. Calvin

William H. Calvin is an American theoretical neurophysiologist and professor emeritus at the University of Washington School of Medicine. He is known for popularizing neuroscience and evolutionary biology, especially the concept of neural Darwinism, and for writing books on the brain, human evolution, and climate change.
