William Estes

William Kaye Estes (1919–2011) was an influential American psychologist who pioneered mathematical psychology and developed the stimulus-sampling theory of learning. He was a distinguished scholar at Indiana University and received the National Medal of Science for his lifetime contributions to psychological science.
