William Bradford
William Bradford (1590–1657) was an English Separatist and Pilgrim leader who sailed on the Mayflower and became a long-serving governor of Plymouth Colony. He is best known as the author of Of Plymouth Plantation, a foundational account of the early Plymouth settlement and one of the most important early works in American history.
