William Berryman Scott

William Berryman Scott was an American vertebrate paleontologist and authority on fossil mammals who served as a professor of geology and paleontology at Princeton University for 46 years. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, he became one of the top paleontologists of his time, directing Princeton's department to become a major center for vertebrate paleontology while continuing his research on fossil mammals until his death at age 89.
