William Barker

William Barker is Professor of Church History, Emeritus at Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia and remains Adjunct Professor of Church History at Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri. He studied at Princeton University, Cornell University, Covenant Theological Seminary, and Vanderbilt University, and served as Moderator of the Presbyterian Church in America in 1994. Barker was editor of the Presbyterian Journal and has contributed to the Dictionary of Christianity in America, authoring works such as Puritan Profiles.
