William B. McCloskey Jr.

William Bernard McCloskey Jr. (1934–2023) was an American author known for novels centered on the commercial fishing world of Alaska, including the Highliners series. Born in Pitcairn, Pennsylvania, he later lived in McMinnville, Oregon, where he died at age 89.
