Willard Spiegelman
Willard Spiegelman is a retired Hughes Professor of English at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, where he taught British and American poetry for decades. He served as editor of the Southwest Review and has been a prolific book reviewer for The Wall Street Journal since 1987, authoring over a dozen books of literary criticism, essays, and memoirs. He is known for his scholarly work on poetry and his biography of poet Amy Clampitt, titled Nothing Stays Put: The Life and Poetry of Amy Clampitt.
