Werner Spalteholz

Werner Spalteholz was a German anatomist known for developing a technique for making human tissue translucent by treating it with liquids that matched its light refraction properties. He was born in Dresden and died in Leipzig, and he is associated with anatomical research at the University of Leipzig.[1][2]
