Wayne R LaFave
Wayne R. LaFave is a renowned American legal scholar specializing in criminal law and procedure, particularly the Fourth Amendment. He earned his BS, LLB, and SJD degrees from the University of Wisconsin and joined the University of Illinois College of Law faculty in 1961, where he is now Research Professor, David C. Baum Professor of Law Emeritus, and Center for Advanced Study Professor Emeritus.[1] He is best known for his seminal works, including the multi-volume treatise Search and Seizure (6th ed., 2020) and treatises on Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure.[1][2][4]
