Warner Muensterberger

Werner Muensterberger (1913–2011) was a German-born ethnologist, psychoanalyst, art historian, and author known for his work on collecting and his writings about African art. He survived the Nazi era, emigrated to the United States in 1947, and became a prominent psychoanalyst who treated notable figures including James Dean and Nelson Rockefeller.
