Walter C. Willett is an American physician and nutrition researcher known for his work on dietary patterns, chronic disease prevention, and large epidemiologic studies such as the Nurses’ Health Study. He has held senior academic positions at Harvard, including professor of epidemiology and nutrition and former chair of the Department of Nutrition.[1][2][5]
