Walter Wangerin
Walter Wangerin Jr. (1944–2021) was an American author, educator, and Lutheran pastor best known for his religious fiction, children's books, and biblical retellings. He wrote more than forty books and was widely recognized for works such as *The Book of the Dun Cow* and *Book of God*.[1][3]
