Walter Vieira

Walter Vieira is a certified management consultant (CMC) and Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants of India (FIMC), who founded the first marketing consultancy company in India, Marketing Advisory Services (MAS), in 1975 after a 14-year career in the pharmaceutical industry with companies like Glaxo, Warner, and Boots.[1][2][4] Over a span of more than 40 years, he worked with numerous companies in India and authored 14 books, three in collaboration with C. Northcote Parkinson.[1][6] He received the Lifetime Achievement Award for Consulting in 2005 and for Marketing in 2009, and was the first Asian elected Chairman of the International Council of Management Consulting Institutes.[2][5]
