Walter Arnold Kaufmann

Walter Arnold Kaufmann (1921–1980) was a German-American philosopher, translator, poet, and photographer best known for his influential work on Nietzsche and existentialism. Born in Germany and later emigrating to the United States, he taught for more than 30 years at Princeton University and helped reshape English-language understanding of Nietzsche.
