W. V. Quine

Willard Van Orman Quine (1908–2000) was an American philosopher and logician, widely regarded as one of the most influential analytic philosophers of the 20th century. He is especially known for his work in logic, epistemology, the philosophy of language, and his critiques of logical empiricism, including the analytic-synthetic distinction.
