Vinay Kumar
Vinay Kumar (born December 24, 1944, in Okara, Punjab, British India) is a renowned pathologist and professor at the University of Chicago, known for co-authoring the widely used textbook 'Robbins and Cotran Pathologic Basis of Disease' and for discovering natural killer (NK) cells in immunology[3]. He serves as the Lowell T. Coggeshall Distinguished Service Professor of Pathology and has been a senior editor of major pathology texts for over 40 years[2][3].
