Victoria Robinson (Editor),
Victoria Robinson is a British sociologist and academic specializing in gender and women's studies. She set up one of the UK's first Women's Studies degrees at the University of Sheffield in the early 1990s, held positions at the Universities of Manchester and Newcastle, and served as Professor of Sociology and Director of the Centre for Women’s Studies at the University of York from 2016 to 2021. She has edited nine books, including the leading textbook 'Introducing Gender and Women’s Studies' (5th edition, 2020) with Diane Richardson, and co-edits Palgrave Macmillan’s 'Genders and Sexualities in the Social Sciences' series.[1][5]
