Vertigo Publishers

Vertigo was an American comics imprint of DC Comics launched in 1993 to publish mature, creator-driven stories outside the constraints of the Comics Code Authority. Under editor Karen Berger, it became known for influential series such as Sandman and Y: The Last Man, and it was discontinued in 2020 as DC consolidated its publishing lines.
