Vanderheijden

A. F. Th. van der Heijden (Adrianus Franciscus Theodorus van der Heijden) is a Dutch writer, born in 1951 in Geldrop near Eindhoven. He is regarded as one of the most important contemporary authors in the Netherlands and is known for his strongly autobiographical fiction, especially the multi-volume cycle *De tandeloze tijd* (*The Toothless Time*).
