Valerie Tripp
Valerie Tripp is a children's book author best known for her contributions to the American Girl series, including all books in the Felicity, Josefina, Kit, Molly, and Maryellen series, and several in the Samantha series.[1][2] Born in 1951 in Mount Kisco, New York, she graduated from Yale University with honors in 1973 and earned a Master of Education from Harvard University in 1981, and has lived in Silver Spring, Maryland since 1985.[1][2] She has also written for reading textbooks, founded the Boys Camp series, and authored the Hopscotch Hill School and Just One More series.[1][4]
