Val Williams

Val Williams is a British writer, curator, and Professor of the History and Culture of Photography at the University of the Arts London (UAL), where she founded the Photography & the Archive Research Centre (PARC) in 2003 and directed it until 2018.[1][2][3] She has curated influential exhibitions at venues like Tate Britain, V&A, and for the British Council, including 'How We Are: Photographing Britain,' and authored numerous books on photography history, with a focus on women photographers since the 1980s.[1][2][4][7]
