Tracy D Terrell
Tracy D. Terrell (1943–1991) was an American linguist and education theorist best known for co-authoring The Natural Approach with Stephen Krashen, a comprehension-based language learning methodology that emphasizes exposure and lowering emotional barriers to learning.[1] He was a professor at the University of California, San Diego, and published influential textbooks including Dos Mundos (Spanish), Deux Mondes (French), and Kontakte (German) based on Natural Approach theory.[2] He was widely respected for his contributions to Hispanic linguistics and his fluency in multiple languages.[1]
