Tracey L. Weldon

Tracey L. Weldon is an American linguist and higher education leader specializing in variationist sociolinguistics, African American English, Gullah (Gullah negation), and quantitative sociolinguistics. She currently serves as the Senior Associate Dean for Graduate Studies and Faculty Development at the McCausland College of Arts and Sciences, University of South Carolina, and previously chaired the Department of History of Science, Technology, and Medicine at the University of Oklahoma.
