Tony Le Tissier

Tony Le Tissier (1932–2024) was a British military historian and retired lieutenant colonel in the British Army, renowned for his expert works on World War II and the Cold War, including titles such as 'The Battle of Berlin 1945' and 'The Siege of Küstrin, 1945'. He served as the last British governor of the Spandau war criminal prison and was a distinguished author and translator of numerous historical books on major 20th-century conflicts.
