Tony Earley

Tony Earley is an American fiction writer and the Samuel Milton Fleming Chair in English at Vanderbilt University, where he has taught since 1997. He is the author of the short story collection Here We Are in Paradise, the novels Jim the Boy and The Blue Star, and the personal essay collection Somehow Form a Family. His work has appeared in The New Yorker, Harper's, and Esquire, and he has been recognized as one of the twenty best young fiction writers in America by The New Yorker and as one of the Best of Young American Novelists by Granta.
