Tony Biggs

Tony Biggs was a prominent horticulturist who moved from Kent, UK, where he lectured at Wye College, to Australia's Hawkesbury Agricultural College in 1980, later becoming Principal Horticulturist Vegetables with the New South Wales Department of Agriculture. He founded and edited *Good Fruit & Vegetables* magazine from 1990, producing over 200 issues, authored books like *Vegetables* for the Royal Horticultural Society and *Principles of Vegetable Crop Production*, and served as a founding member and president of the Australian Society for Horticultural Science.[1]
