Tomas Palacios

Tomás Palacios is a Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at MIT and Director of the Microsystems Technology Laboratories (MTL). He received his Ph.D. from the University of California - Santa Barbara in 2006 and his undergraduate degree in Telecommunication Engineering from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. His research focuses on developing new electronic devices based on wide bandgap semiconductors like gallium nitride and graphene for applications in power amplification, biosensors, and energy conversion.
