Tom Wilkin

Thomas James Wilkin was a British police officer born in England in 1909 who joined the Palestine Police Force in Mandatory Palestine in 1930, serving in the CID and becoming a key figure in cracking down on Jewish underground groups like the Haganah, Irgun, and Lehi.[1][2][4] He was involved in investigations, raids, and was the right-hand man to Geoffrey J. Morton, earning a fearsome reputation among militants for his Hebrew proficiency and effectiveness.[4] Wilkin was assassinated by Lehi members on September 29, 1944, in Jerusalem as revenge for the killing of Avraham Stern.[2][4][6]
